Before founding her concierge practice, Dr. Stella Villacorta began her career in a traditional healthcare system—one that prioritized speed and patient volume over personalized care. She saw firsthand how patients were often forced to wait too long, receive rushed visits, and leave appointments without the clarity or connection they deserved.
Her perspective deepened after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Navigating the system as a patient gave her a powerful, firsthand understanding of the healthcare system. That experience became a turning point—reinforcing her belief that patients deserve more: more access, more attention, and more meaningful care from their concierge internal medicine doctor in Fort Lauderdale.
Dr. Villacorta earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. In addition to her board certification in Internal Medicine, she received advanced training in nutrition and lifestyle medicine through Stanford University, strengthening her commitment to root-cause, whole-person care.
